My typical day could involve establishing Samsung’s 2025 appliance brand platform, brainstorming and reviewing concepts, presenting to stakeholders, mentoring my direct reports, weighing in on creative briefs, reviewing work to make sure it’s on-brand and impactful, and keeping a finger on consumer trends and insights that could help Samsung gain more brand love. Hired as a freelancer leading copy for the David Yurman account, then worked my way up to become a full-time creative lead on Samsung. Oversaw copy and storytelling for Samsung’s corporate marketing team and Samsung’s branded, datainformed editorial content platform, which helped increase cart size by 6.8% and more than doubled revenue earned per visitor. Collaborated with fellow channel leads and partner agencies to ensure voice, design, messaging and content are in sync. Briefed influencers/creators on content proposals and worked with them until their contributions were client-approved and consumer-ready. Participated in successful pitches for Samsung and Dove.

Created impactful print, video, social and POS campaigns for The Wall Street Journal. Transformed Red Lobster’s brand voice and created their loyalty app and web experience. Helped Citi stand out with their Olympics sponsorship, which involved a serious case of Olympics fever. Led creative for their integrated Olympics campaign and helped produce a library of original photography and video assets for social, out-of-home, OLA and Citi.com. Served as an individual contributor while also overseeing several creative teams to ensure their creative was on-point across channels. Collaborated closely with clients, partner talent agencies and the IOC to make sure all creative was approved and within IOC guidelines.

Started a successful freelance copywriting business, which kept me busier than ever.
